Mit dem Volcano 6Cu setzt Thermaltake die Reihe der leistungsfähigen uznd dennoch günstigen Volcano-Serie fort. Er ist von AMD für alle aktuellen Prozessoren bis 1,4 GHz freigegeben. Die eingelassene Bodenplatte aus Kupfer ist für hervorragende Wärmeableitung und das "Cu" im Namen des Kühlers verantwortlich. Trotz der sehr guten Leistungswerte konnte Thermaltake auch hier die Geräuschentwicklung im Rahmen halten, so dass der Volcano 6Cu leiser ist, als man von den meisten anderen Hochleistungskühlern gewohnt ist.
