Der Thermaltale Volcano 7 Plus Universal ist der erste Kühler, der sowohl auf AMD Sockel A/462 als auch auf Intel-Systemen (Socket 478 & FC-PGA) eingesetzt werden kann. Der durchdachte Lieferumfang enthält jeweils einen Montagesatz für jeden Prozessortyp. So müssen Sie bei einem Umstieg auf ein anderes System jetzt nicht gleich einen neuen Kühler kaufen. Die Kühlleistung ist durch den starken Lüfter hervorragend und ausreichend für einen AMD XP bis 2600+ bzw. Intel Pentium 4 bis 3 GHz. Der Lüfter kann mit der ebenfalls im Lieferumfang befindlichen Geschwindigkeitsregelung in der Drehgeschwindigkeit und dadurch natürlich auch im Geräuschverhalten manuell eingestellt werden.
